Education week!

For education week, the theme was education around the world.  We saw pictures of different ways students get to school, did a survey among our grade 8s and 7s to see how students got to school, watched videos about schools around the world, played games from around the world in PE class and even got to try snacks from other countries!

Our PE games were from such diverse countries as China, Pakistan, India, Greece and Ghana.  In this game students were unsafe either high or low depending on what the tagger called out.

This game was really fun.  Students made halls with their bodies.  The cat tries to catch the moose in the maze, but the maze keeps changing each time I blew a whistle!




In PAA students are in groups making poster promoting the smoothie they will be creating this Thursday.  Students are reminded that they will each need to bring their own cup or glass and spoon for tasting the creations that day.
